How to Engage Emerging Leaders
My two daughters are engaged in my businesses. They bring a different skill set and way of thinking to the table than I do. How do we engage emerging leaders and make use of their unique contributions? We must be willing to embrace their perspectives. All my life, I have been telling my daughters what to do; now, I must listen when they say, “Dad, let’s do it this way instead.” Otherwise, I will never engage with them. Engaging emerging leaders means making room for what they bring to you table: their contributions will take you where you want to go.
